Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing technical advice on administrative matters to include logistics, travel, security, facilities management, knowledge management, and manpower; managing the overall development and execution of a budget program to include administering annual funding, allocating funds, and reviewing expenditures; advising on human resources matters such as military, civilian, and contractor pay issues, administrative actions, training, and policy compliance; and facilitating all aspects of contract management to include documenting performance of contract status, tracking deliverables, and monitoring contract requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13).
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
