About the position: This position is located at the Eifel Mountain Golf Course, Spangdahlem AB, Germany.

Work schedule is Monday through Sunday, days, evenings and holidays.

Duties

The primary purpose of this position is to perform and/or assist recreation assistants or specialists in the operation and maintenance of indoor and/or outdoor recreational facilities.

The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to:

  • Sets up recreation areas for scheduled activities, records attendance, takes reservations and payment, notifies participants of schedule changes.
  • Arranges for use of equipment or tools, and checks them for condition on their return.
  • Posts announcements of scheduled activities and answers questions about items, locations, or other matters related to activities scheduled.
  • Conducts inventory of recreation supplies and equipment.
  • Checks the established safety system of indoor and outdoor recreation facilities and areas, tools, and equipment.
  • Assists within the Pro Shop.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Qualifying Experience:
  • Practical knowledge of recreational activities, rules, and procedures.
  • Ability to safeguard and handle cash and skill in the use and maintenance of various recreational equipment and facilities, is desirable.
  • However no experience is required.
