Summary

This position is located at the ROB Physical Fitness Center (Kaiserslautern Functional Fitness Program) in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

Duties

  • Serves as a Facility Aid in a Fitness Facility. Works under the direction of the Facility Manager.
  • Assists the Facility Manager in the overall operation of a fitness facility.
  • Performs facility cleanliness and/or monitors contracts.
  • Assists with publicity of programs and events and assists with the delivery and placement of posters, flyers and other promotional material.

  • Must be willing and able to work rotating shifts that include nights, weekend and holidays.
  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Must obtain the following within 6 months of employment: MWR Orientation Course, Customer Service.

Qualifications


Incumbents should possess related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to perform the duties of position as indicated above.

Highly Qualifying Criteria:

1. Civilian fitness facility or military Physical Fitness Center (PFC) experience
2. Candidate should possess/demonstrate sound customer service, business management, and marketing skills
3. Demonstrated understanding of fitness equipment usage and maintenance
4. Possess the following certifications: CPR, First Aid, and AED
5. Proven excellent communication, organizational and planning skills
