Duties

  • Sanitize and maintain high-traffic facility areas to uphold safety standards and present a professional environment.
  • Facilitate equipment exchanges by coordinating the checkout and return process for patrons with precision and accountability.
  • Promote a positive guest experience by actively circulating through the facility to address needs and resolve issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues through routine preventative maintenance and minor repairs on facility hardware.
  • Assess the condition of fitness equipment to identify wear and tear, ensuring all machinery is operational and safe for use.

  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Continuous exposure to sun and prolonged periods of high temperature and humidity.
  • In case of exposure to infectious disease, incumbent is required to obtain the Hepatitis B vaccination series within a 24-hour period.
  • Incumbent is required to follow environmental safeguards and wear personal protective equipment.
  • May be assigned to irregular duties or when needed for special recreational events and related requirements.
  • Work hours may involve weekend, weekdays, holidays and night duty.
  • Must possess the following within 6 months of employment: MWR Orientation Course, Customer Service.
