In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and l00lbs assisted and possess a valid driver's license. Must have customer service experience. Work experience related to the duties described above. Must obtain the following certificates within 60 days of employment: Cardio-pulmonary resuscitation (CPR), First Aid Certification and AED certification. Must be able to read, speak, write and effectively communicate the English language with patrons. Must possess minimum clerical, office type skills and the ability to carry out cash handling procedures IAW Air Force Instructions. Must be able to to stand for extended periods of time. Must possess and display a pleasant personality and be able to professionally interact with patrons. Must be able to work uncommon tours of duty; weekends, evenings, split shifts, and other unusual hours when required. Must be able to successfully complete a National Agency Check with inquires (NACI). Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical. This is a position of trust. Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
