Duties
MAJOR DUTIES:
Works as a recreation aid (physical fitness) at the Edelweiss Lodge and Resort, Point Wellness Center, as a receptionist, and a facility worker. Is responsible for cleaning fitness machines, locker rooms, and pool areas. Ensures correct, proper, and safe use of all fitness equipment and explains equipment usage to guests. Is familiar with working the pool, sauna, steam room, and Jacuzzi operations, ensures safety and usage is monitored, and identifies problems and informs the supervisor of malfunctions. Opens and closes the facility daily, which includes turning on and off lights, TVs, music, steam room, sauna, whirlpool, stocking towels, cleaning, etc. Utilizes an automated booking system for massages, spa treatments, and personal training appointments. Is responsible for money handling and maintaining internal control practices as a cashier. Prepares and sells items from the on-site juice bar. Assists patrons with information about all programs offered by the Edelweiss Resort and the local area, as the job requires providing information to guests. Maintains a friendly, helpful demeanor around and towards guests to project a positive image for Edelweiss Lodge and our programs. Report any problems to the point lead or the leisure activities director as soon as possible to maintain high-quality service for our guests.

- Appointment subject to satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3 to include a National Agency Check (NAC). Must be bondable.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Must demonstrate the ability to offer excellent guest service. Must have or be able to obtain current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification and Water Safety certification.
Education
High School graduate or equivalent. Higher education in a related field is desirable but not required.
Must possess the ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
