Duties
- Works as an assistant for the Facilities Operations Team Leader who makes specific assignments, explains policies and procedures and reviews work for quantity and quality of completed projects.
- Cleans recreation equipment, supplies and facility area. Operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities equipment.
- Opens and/or closes facilities by locking /unlocking doors and windows and assuring security system is operable. Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users.
- Arranges furniture and equipment for various types and sizes of events; put up and take down special event decorations.
- Polices interior and exterior areas of building and grounds, and performs general housekeeping to make facilities/playing fields/pools/outdoor courts ready for use.
- Maybe required to drive a motor vehicle as needed. Performs other duties as assigned.

- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR215-3, 2-13i to include a National Agency Check (NACI).
- Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required for this position. (Must be able to lift 25lbs).
- Possess and maintain a valid drivers license.
- Must be able to work during the hours of operation: Monday-Friday 0430-2015; Saturday, Sundays, and Donsas 0745-1615; Rotating Holidays.
Qualifications
Qualification Requirements are:
- Demonstrated ability to performs the duties described above.
- Must have and retain a valid driver's license.
Applicants meeting the following will be considered Highly Preferred:
- 6 months of customer service experience
- 6 months of experience in recreation and/or a recreation program
- 1 year of cash register experience
