U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.

Duties

  • Works as an assistant for the Facilities Operations Team Leader who makes specific assignments, explains policies and procedures and reviews work for quantity and quality of completed projects.
  • Cleans recreation equipment, supplies and facility area. Operates equipment and performs self-help maintenance on facilities equipment.
  • Opens and/or closes facilities by locking /unlocking doors and windows and assuring security system is operable. Issues/receives recreational equipment to authorized users.
  • Arranges furniture and equipment for various types and sizes of events; put up and take down special event decorations.
  • Polices interior and exterior areas of building and grounds and performs general housekeeping to make facilities/playing fields/pools/outdoor courts ready for use. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment physical is required for this position. May be required to lift up to 45lbs.
  • Must be able to work a schedule that includes rotating shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays between the hours of 0430 - 2030.
  • Must have and retain a valid driver's license.

Qualification Requirements are:

  • Demonstrated ability to performs the duties described above.
  • Must have and retain a valid driver's license.
Applicants meeting the following will be considered Highly Preferred:
  • 6 months of customer service and/or recreation experience
  • 6 months of experience using a cash register
  • Experience using Rectrac software

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
