U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation. Duties

  • 1. Assists Facility Manager in the overall management and operation of an outdoor recreation facility.
  • 2. Assists with publicity of programs and events assists with marketing of posters, flyers and other promotional material.
  • 3. Issues/receives equipment to authorized users. Assists with the inventory of property. Monitors equipment condition; tracks maintenance and repair or replacement as appropriate.
  • 4. Cleans and performs minor maintenance on facility equipment. Instructs customers and monitors proper and safe usage of equipment, as needed.

  • Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • Possesses satisfactory completion of pre-employment background checks in accordance with AR 215-3, 2-13, to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • This position may require a health screening. Immunizations may be required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility.
  • May be able to work during weekends or holidays for trips etc.

Qualifications

1. Six (6) months of directly related work experience that includes the demonstrated ability to operate multiple recreational facilities
2. Possess (or can you obtain by the start of employment), and can you maintain, the following certifications: Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
3. Willing to complete (and maintain) the following certifications: MWR Orientation Course; Customer Service and Equipment (Safe Operation and Basic Maintenance Repair)

PCS Costs

Pay-Band Allowances and Differentials
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. Sunday premium may be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. Night differential may be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.

  • Incentives will not be paid.

  • Allowances, differentials, or incentives will not be paid.
