Summary

This position is located at Hooper Bowling Center - Fort Campbell, KY.

This is a "Flexible" position (0-40 hours) with no eligibility to participate in the NAF Employee Benefits Plans.

U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. or U.S. Territory for three (3) or more continuous years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.

Duties

  • Circulates among patrons to assure service is satisfactory; receives and resolves customer complaints; provides information and general instructions on the use of equipment, facilities and machinery.
  • Issues/receives recreational equipment. Collects applicable fees and run point of sale system. Pre-checks and prepares equipment for customers.
  • Assists patrons in use of the facility by checking out equipment, providing safety instruction, demonstrating new equipment, teaching classes, etc.
  • Plans, conducts, publicizes and arranges support for special events, social activities, tournaments and related functions. May provide work guidance to other staff.
  • Assist in setting up, tear down and in conducting events. Cleans and maintains equipment and facility. Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • A one year probationary period may be required.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Must be able to work a schedule that includes rotating shifts, weekdays, weekends, afternoons, evenings, nights and holidays.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Work experience which involved dealing with the general public.

Highly Qualified candidates will have the following:

  • Possess at least 6 months of customer service experience
  • Possess at least six (6) months experience with a cash register/point of sales system
  • Possess demonstrated working experience with inventory management

**Applicants that meet the Highly Preferred criteria will be referred to management for consideration first. All others will be referred if management does not make a selection from the Highly Preferred list**

PCS Costs
  • Payment Permanent Change of Station (PCS) costs are not authorized, based on a determination that a PCS move is not in the Government's interest.
Pay-Band (NF or CY) Allowances and Differentials
  • This is a pay-banded position.
  • Sunday premium pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. If authorized, only regular (full-time, part-time, limited tenure and seasonal) employees may be paid Sunday premium pay. When authorized, Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday). Sunday premium will be paid at the rate of 25% of the basic rate for all hours of non-overtime, when any part of the scheduled tour of duty is performed on Sunday (to a maximum of 8 hours per Sunday).
  • Night differential may be authorized by the Garrison Commander. When authorized, night differential will be paid at the rate of 10% basic rate for hours of non-overtime work performed between 1800-0600.
