Conditions of Employment

- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- This position may require a health screening. Immunizations may be required as a condition of employment for the health and safety of those in the facility.
- Must have or be able to obtain a current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification.
- Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.
Qualifications
Must have knowledge of and experience in a wide variety of Outdoor Recreation pursuits. Applicants pursuing a degree in Recreation Management, Outdoor Recreation, or a related field, and in the process of completing an internship or field work program will be considered highly qualified.
Best Qualifying Criteria:
- Experience in a combination of rock climbing, hiking, paddle-sports, snow-sports
- Professional certifications in a combination of rock climbing, hiking, paddle-sports, snow-sports
- Experience with the Rectrac Point of Sale system
- Experience in instructing outdoor recreational sports
