Conditions of employment
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position to include childcare checks.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Must be willing able to work rotating shift, to include evenings, weekends and MWR Special Events.
- Must have or be able to obtain a current American Red Cross First Aid and CPR/AED training certification.
Qualifications

A qualified candidate must possess the following:
Must have knowledge of and experience in a wide variety of Outdoor Recreation pursuits.
In addition to the above qualifications, candidates who possess the following qualifications will be considered "Highly Preferred" or "Best Qualified":
1. Bike/snowboard maintenance experience
2. Warrior Adventure Quest (WAQ) Facilitation leading high adventure trips/activities experience
3. Knowledge and experience of point of sales (POS) systems, i.e. RecTrac
4. Possess basic conversational Italian language skills to lead Outdoor Recreation trips.
5. Applicants pursuing a degree in Recreation Management, Outdoor Recreation, or a related field, and in the process of completing an internship or fieldwork program will be considered highly qualified.

Area of Consideration
- This job is open to candidates who are in the commuting area of Vicenza, Italy. (Military Spouse Preference (MSP), Involuntarily Separated Military Preference (ISMP) and Family Member Preference eligible candidates are included in the area of consideration.)

- This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
