In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Qualifying Experience:
Ability to plan, organize and carry out projects related to one or more outdoor recreation programs and general work experience that has prepared the individual for performing broader projects described in the duties and responsibilities above. In addition, must have ability to effectively perform financial, program, facility, inventory, and personnel program support work. Must have skill to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, Experience and familiarity with Microsoft Office programs to include Word, Excel and Power Point, is highly desirable. Ability to follow procedures for group activities or programs; and practical knowledge and/or experience of recreational activities equipment, rules and procedures which involves recreational work in the area of specialty in which the position is assigned. The employee must possess and maintain a valid state issued motor vehicle operator's license. Work may require physical exertions and must be able to lift, bend, walk or stand for long periods of time. Repeated lifting or moving of equipment will be required. Will be required to work outside normal business hours which include nights and weekends. May be subject to irregular tour of duty. The employee will need to be certified in First Aid and CPR. This is a drug testing designated position. The Incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use. Condition(s) of Employment: Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation (Tier 1 Level) is required. Negative drug test result is required. Maintain Valid State issued drivers license. Certified in First Aid and CPR.

Education
Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. This position does not allow for education substitution.
FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program. It is your responsibility to provide such evidence when applying.
