Duties

• Performs repair work on a variety of equipment including gas powered rental golf cars, gang mowers, green mowers and other mechanical equipment utilized in the daily operation and maintenance of a golf course.
• Performs minor engine repairs by cleaning, adjusting, and/or replacing defective parts, of components and systems including wheel cylinders, mufflers, brake shoes, carburetors, etc.
• Performs miner electric or gas welding tasks as required.
• Determines requirements and order necessary parts, tools, and other repair equipment through the Recreation Equipment Repairer/Green Superintendent.
• Performs preventive and routine maintenance with schedules as established by supervisor. Keeps accurate records of all preventive and routine maintenance and repair work accomplished. Maintains parts accountability records for all repair parts.

• A one year probationary period may be required.
• Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
• Must be available to work rotating shifts.
• Successful completion of health assessment required.
• Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must attend Team Member Orientation within the first thirty (30) days of employment.
• This is a flexible position. Flexible positions have no guaranteed hours. A flexible employee serves in a continuing position on a scheduled or as needed basis.
• Work requires frequent bending, reaching, crouching, standing and arm movements. Must work in awkward positions and cramped areas. Frequently lifts and carries items up to 60 pounds and handles heavier objects.
• Most work in performed inside on concrete floors. Exposed to dirt, grease, exhaust fumes, cuts, bruises and burns. Occasionally works outside with exposure to all weather extremes.
