Location: Little Rock, Arkansas

The Center for Mental Healthcare and Outcomes Research (CeMHOR) at the VA Healthcare System is seeking a Research Program Specialist to join our innovative team. This is a temporary role with the potential for renewal, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact on mental health research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical input and administrative direction for strategic project development and integration.
  • Coordinate the creation and submission of Behavioral Health Quality reports and plans.
  • Serve as the main contact for information exchange and project tracking.
  • Develop procedures to enhance administrative control systems and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Prepare study protocols and ensure compliance with Institutional Review Board regulations.
  • Identify program weaknesses and implement standard operating procedures to address them.

Work Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Telework options may be available.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Potential for relocation or residency within a commutable distance to Little Rock, Arkansas.
  • Experience in managing single and multi-site projects is essential.
  • Completion of relevant graduate education or equivalent specialized experience.
  • Compliance with health and security protocols, including vaccinations.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a year of specialized experience in health research environments or comparable fields, or equivalent higher education credentials. Strong skills in project coordination, data management, and report writing are essential.
