Duties
- Works under the general supervision and guidance of the Director, MWR. Responsible for the daily management of a restaurant facility within the installation.
- Directs and supervises staff in service standards and policies. Forecast staffing needs and payroll costs; schedules staff in order to maximize profits consistent with quality service. Maintains proper labor percentages within budgeted guidelines.
- Provides input in the development and implementation of operating policies, programs and procedures. Conducts reviews of guest comments, surveys, and operations to identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action.
- Evaluates the success of Food and Beverage facility based on financial results, customer satisfaction, and market desires. Prepares and presents business and financial briefings to senior level management.
- Insures appropriate policies and procedures are accomplished to provide for adequate internal controls, inventory management, cash management, and accountability for property and funds. Performs other duties as assigned.

- The ability to obtain (within first six months of employment) and maintain a Food Protection Manager Certification acquired through an American National Standards Institute (ANSI) accredited agency is required (i.e., ServSafe Food Protection Manager)
Qualifications
Standard Qualifications:
- Progressively responsible experience, that includes supervisory or managerial experience equivalent in difficulty and complexity to the next lower grade level or equivalent position.
