Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, developing and administering ground safety and occupational health programs to include safety operations investigation, program effectiveness and hazardous material storage and handling.

The incumbent must meet all the training requirements unless waived by the hiring manager for a GS-0018-11/Journeyman Safety Specialist as outlined in NAVEDTRA 10076B which includes the following or equivalent courses:
- Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene
- Hazardous Materials
- Electrical Safety
- Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General and Construction Industries
- Mishap Investigation
The incumbent may be assigned to other camps/locations as determined by management.
