Summary

Duties
- Serves as a Risk Analyst and will be an expert in identifying and assessing potential risks to the organization
- The analyst will perform in-depth research using classified and open-source databases to profile known and unknown risks to key technology development efforts.
- Develops risk processes with all-source research and analysis tools; conducts targeted analysis of known risk personalities, groups and networks, as well as those with incomplete information.
- Develops and staffs risk management memorandums to leadership for decision making purposes.
- Researches, collects, and organizes statistical and threat data information.

- This position may require drug testing and the candidate may be subject to passing a drug test upon selection
- The employee must, within 30 days of assuming this position and by 31 October annually, thereafter, file an OGE-450, Confidential Financial Disclosure Report. Employee is required to attend annual ethics and procurement integrity training
- Selectee may be required to serve a probationary or trial period
- This position requires the following certifications: Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC); Security Asset Protection Professional Certification (SAPPC) within 2 years of the established entrance on duty or initial assignment
- This is a Centrally Managed position under the Security Civilian Career Field.

- The duty location for this position is Eglin AFB, FL
- This position may require occasional travel

Qualifications
Experience requirements are described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Administrative and Management Positions. To qualify for this position, you must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the DO-1 broadband or GS-11 level. Specialized experience may include knowledge of a range of intelligence research and collection methods, experience in conducting unbiased complex research, and identifying appropriate systems/data sources and developing reports, presentations, and/or making recommendations based on their findings.
