SHARP Program Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SHARP (Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention) Program Manager. This position entails managing the SHARP Program for a sizable serviced population of at least 10,000 individuals, including Soldiers, Family members, and Department of Army Civilians. The role emphasizes creating a workplace that actively rejects sexual harassment and assault while promoting respectful attitudes and behaviors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and ensure effectiveness of the SHARP Program through prevention activities, response coordination, case management, victim advocacy, and training management.
  • Support commanders in planning and executing training programs at all organizational levels.
  • Analyze data to assess program effectiveness, make informed recommendations, and implement improvements.
  • Provide confidential guidance and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines regarding sexual harassment and assault.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is mandatory.
  • Secret security clearance, or proof of eligibility to obtain it, is necessary.
  • The position requires you to be on call 24/7 on a rotational basis.
  • Completion of required SHARP training and certification is critical.
  • Obtain and maintain the DoD Sexual Assault Advocate Certification Program (D-SAACP) certification within six months from the start date.

Qualifications

  • A year of specialized experience at a level equivalent to Federal service standard GS-12, including:
    • Directing programs emphasizing prevention of sexual harassment and assault.
    • Policy establishment for prevention and accountability.
    • Measuring program effectiveness and recommending improvements.
