THE ABILITY TO DO THE WORK OF THE POSITION WITHOUT MORE THAN NORMAL SUPERVISION. Your resume must show that you have the ability to perform common tasks including:
1) Performing layout, fabrication, assembly, repair, and installation of a variety of sheet metal items, such as ducts, flashing, safety guards, sink tops, drain boards, and components and parts for air conditioning, heating, and ventilating systems;
2) Using mathematics to calculate irregular angles, curves, and pitch;
3) Fabricating sheet metal items having combined straight and curved edges or irregular curves and planes;
4) Interpreting and complying with technical publications related to the Sheet Metal Mechanic Trade; and
5) Using a variety of hand, power, measuring and layout tools to perform work on sheet metal.
