ABILITY TO LEAD OR SUPERVISE
I have the ability to perform the most difficult and complex tasks including: 1) Carrying out work, guiding others, resolving problems and ensuring that all safety rules and procedures are followed; 2) Evaluating the depth of work required to satisfy technical directives and engineering instructions; 3) Coordinating work assignments with shop supervisor as they apply to scheduled aircraft deliveries; 4) Identify and comprehend the working characteristics of a wide variety of sheet metal and composites used in aircraft structures; 5) Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, ball gauges, calipers, and other hand measurement devices used to determine critical hole data such as diameter, tear out, edge distance and ligament; 6) Operating complicated shop tools and equipment, both hand and power, such as shears, brakes, rollers, saws, drills and grinders; 7) Interpreting blueprints, technical directives and incorporating various aircraft modifications. I am considered an expert and I am consulted by other employees in difficult situations. I work with a high degree of independence.
