Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-009 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Solving technical problems associated with ship maintenance; 2) Assisting with developing detailed reports, planning documents and correspondence concerning labor conditions, production costs, methods, processes and material costs related to ship repair; 3) Analyzing contractor reports to provide detailed statements of work to include estimate of labor and material requirements.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Using automated data-processing equipment and software programs to prepare work specifications for planning of shipbuilding and ship repair; 2) Assisting with providing estimates on costs of labor, material, schedule and material availability to determine schedule dates and budget; 3) Monitoring contracted work on ships to determine work progress and inspection of job worksite.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED:
Incumbent may be required to be Non Destructive Testing (NOT) qualified or complete Weld/Braze Workmanship training for welding inspections. The position also requires computer training and operation of Navy unique programs/systems and incumbent possess a motor vehicle operator's license to perform inspections at contractor facilities.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

The current workweek is Monday through Sunday. Employees hired from continental U.S. will receive Sunday Premium Pay (computed at 25% of basic hourly rate, eight hours per week). Relocation and recruitment incentives up to 25% may be authorized.
