Summary

This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for STRL-Direct Support to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.

About the Position: This position serves as the Strategic Plans Analyst for the Maneuver CDID at Fort Moore, Georgia.

Duties

  • Serves as an operations officer supporting M-CDID integration and synchronization.
  • Prepares reports and briefings for M-CDID Leadership.
  • Attends meetings with AFC, MCoE, and other organizations to represent M-CDID equities and Leadership intent.
  • Manage events and calendars that support M-CDID core functions.
  • Coordinate, plan, and execute external engagements.
  • Coordinate, develop, and disseminate orders and taskers to M-CDID and other organizations.

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent to be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for Tier 3 - Non-Critical Sensitive (Moderate Risk) security clearance Secret or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position may require the incumbent to travel up to 10 percent of the time.
  • This appointment is subject to completion of a 3 year probation period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements.

Specialized Experience:

To qualify, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. Specialized experience is defined as;

(1) Implement plans that support the organization's goals;

(2) Manage schedules and/or deadlines to ensure timely execution of operational plans; and

(3) Execute daily operations to align activities with organizational goals and resources.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service DE-02 (GS-11 equivalent).

Education

Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the minimum qualification requirement using experience alone--no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
