In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Leading others within an Acquisition division in providing the full range of contract and contract administration services for research and development, non-FAR acquisitions, design, construction, utilities, alteration, maintenance, facility support services, energy, information technology and environmental engineering for shore facilities; 2) Ensuring an innovative and agile contract program has the proper staffing, budgeting, and program management needed to provide quality Acquisition products and services; 3) Advising others on contracting principles and contract law, including current techniques and methodology regarding both FAR and non-FAR procurements, pricing arrangements, business practices, industry principles, cost accounting practices, and techniques of economic, statistical and life cycle costing to plan, develop, implement, maintain, and administer the contractual aspects; and 4) Working with high level U.S. and non-U.S. business, industry, technical, military and other government officials from a diverse background on unique and complex issues surrounding contract and acquisition matters.
