Summary

You will serve as a Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist in the Operations Dept of NAVSUPPACT NAPLES, Italy.



Duties

  • You will maintain a balanced workload to ensure leave is distributed appropriately between all subordinates.
  • You will give advice and counsel to employees on work and administrative matters.
  • You will coach employee feedback, and training to ensure all employees are properly trained in their areas of operation.
  • You will manage the work and shift schedules to meet the operating needs of dispatching.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:

1) Coordinating all-hazard exercises to determine Emergency Operation Center (EOC) staff readiness;
2) Evaluating organization's ability to execute mass warning and notification (MWN) responses as part of an all-hazard response for an organization;
3) Organizing staff training in the operation of an Emergency Operation Center (EOC); and
4) Manage a qualification and continuing training program for emergency response personnel.

Priority consideration will be given to military spouse preference and family member preference eligible residing in the commute area of the duty location for this position.
