Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector:
1) Applying engineering disciplines (e.g. electrical, electronic, mechanical and structural) to analyze problems from a system viewpoint;
2) Providing input for functional checkouts, tests, and inspection of Combat and Mechanical systems;
3) Preparing technical reports and formal correspondence identifying root cause and all aspects of Combat and Mechanical engineering problems and corrections applied;
4) Developing and implementing long-term strategic objectives and goals for the purpose of sustainment, quality, capability, and capacity to meet mission demands; and
5) Providing technical review of products and services to ensure technical suitability is aligned with the customer's needs and the technical standards applicable for naval vessels.
