Selective Placement Factor(SPF): This position has an SPF which is current registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) in any state, District of Columbia, Guam or Puerto Rico. If you meet this requirement, you must provide a copy of your current registration with your application.
In addition to the SPF, your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as
1) Providing expertise on environmental compliance program requirements (such as air, water, waste), including environmental laws and regulations and resolving environmental compliance issues with regulators, agencies, and/or tenant commands.
2) Overseeing development of environmental compliance products and services, including contracting, schedules, work performance, funding, and execution. 3) Leading an interdisciplinary staff in the planning, direction, and execution of environmental compliance programs for an organization.
