Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: developing, implementing and providing training in fire protection, prevention and hazardous material emergency response; AND conducting fire protection inspections.

You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license.
You must have a successful completion of an Emergency Vehicle Operator Course.
Must be physically fit and pass a required annual physical and meet the medical and physical fitness entrance requirements.
Work requires lifting up to 50 pounds, walking 2 - 4 hours daily, occasional climbing and maintaining mental alertness, self-control and emotional stability to carry out the duties of this position.

Incumbent will be required to work a 60-hour work week with eating and sleeping facilities provided in accordance with general firefighting practices.
Work schedule will consist of four 9-hour days and one 24-hour shift per week.
