Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Directing the operation of one or more firefighting vehicles and associated equipment of significant complexity to perform firefighting and rescue operations;
2) Reviewing the design, construction, occupancy of buildings and installed fire suppression systems to conduct fire suppression pre-plans and emergency actions plans;
3) Employing hazardous materials emergency response procedures, equipment, identification and decontamination procedures;
4) Controlling and extinguishing fires and conducting rescue operations in structural fire, hazardous material, confined space response, motor vehicle collision and other emergencies; and
5) Devising solutions to complex problems relating to firefighting or fire prevention.
