Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector directing firefighting operations; implementing and executing installation Fire and Emergency Services Programs which includes fire prevention, public education, fire protection, fire suppression, and hazardous materials programs; and providing supervision to senior fire prevention and protection employees.

Conditions of Employment continued:
You must possess and provide the required DoD Certifications at the time of application to be considered for the position (Fire Officer IV, Fire Inspector II, Fire Instructor II, HazMat Incident Command, and Airport Firefighter).
You will be required to obtain and maintain a current valid United States driver's license, host nation license and successful completion of an Emergency Vehicle Operators Course.
This position requires participation in a physical fitness program and requires an Annual Physical.
You will be required to work a 60-hour work week with eating and sleeping facilities provided in accordance with general firefighting practices.
This position requires a work schedule of four 9-hour days and one 24-hour day shift per week.
You must be able to perform fire ground management duties under stress when carry out the scope of this position.
This position requires alertness, self-control, and emotional stability in order to lead and direct personnel under conditions of extreme stress.
