In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate most or all of the following duties: Working with project leader through phases of design, pre-award and construction; Providing accurate field office projections for design and construction workload to determine resource requirements; Managing workload to provide status updates using computer based programs (i.e. eContracts, eProjects, Enterprise Safety Application Management Systems (ESAMS), Facility Accident and Incident Reporting (FAIR)); and Evaluating Project Management and Engineering Branch (PMEB) requirements as it relates to project schedule, cost impacts, and quality control/quality assurance efforts to maximize effectiveness of Design and Construction Business Line (DCBL) deliverables and support.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONTINUED:
Registration as Professional Engineer is required.
The work is mostly sedentary. However, there are regular and recurring field inspections, site visits, investigations, or surveys in which there is a considerable amount of walking over rough, uneven surfaces, and around or over building materials, excavation sites, and heavy equipment. The work also requires some stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting/carrying light objects. No special physical effort or ability is required to perform the work.
Work is performed in an office environment with some field investigation and travel required. Job site visits include exposure to risks associated with these types of work such as adverse weather, high noise, dust, confined spaces, and other typical construction and industrial hazards. The use of personal protective equipment is required.
