DUTIES:
As a SUPERVISORY GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST (D1903000),GS-2001-11, you will direct the development, coordination, and implementation of procedural changes; to direct the performance of management/program analysis for the logistic activities under the jurisdiction of the USPFO; and to direct acquisition, accountability, incoming, outgoing and formal transfer of logistic asset for the USPFO in support of the Federal and state mission. Position is responsible for the management, direction, and supervision of employees.

GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
Experience, education, or training which has provided the applicant with a general knowledge of one or more aspects of the supply field. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Applicant must possess at least ONE (1) year of specialized experience at the next lower GS-09 level, or the equivalent THIRTY-SIX (36) months performing or supervising duties such as developing goals and objectives that integrate organizational, logistics, supply, transportation and inventory management; establishing, reviewing, and revising policies, procedures, mission objectives, and organization design; guidance and policy direction in supply and equipment support for all assigned units; developing plan, programs, and policies for the operation, management, and administration; providing guidance in establishing local procedures and/or control; directing development of local supplements and operating instructions and updates as required; developing draft policies, concepts, and procedures; promoting team building, implementing quality improvements, and responding to concerns; providing technical and administrative supervision; establishing priorities based on attainment of goals, objectives, and work; monitoring and evaluating employee performance; hearing and resolving complaints from employees, referring grievances and more serious unresolved complaints; identifying developmental and training needs and provides and/or arranging for needed development and training; providing advice, counsel, and instruction on work and administrative matters.
