Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
- Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services.
- Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately.
- Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
(1) Establishing and chartering organization components, allocating personnel resources, designating new or revised project and functional responsibilities, and executing realignments or reorganizations to improve effectiveness and respond to program changes; (2) Providing expert and authoritative advice, counsel, instruction, and decisions on both technical and administrative matters to employees and making provisions for employee development and training needs; (3) Delegating work and assigning priorities of effort to assigned staff and ensuring subordinates' understanding of objectives for assigned work, the strategies used to pursue those objectives, and resources allocated to support program efforts; (4) Overseeing the application of structured and disciplined project management methodology processes used in the management of the IT portfolio of projects/initiatives assigned to the agency; and (5) Supporting higher level managers, internal and external, in the development of strategy, selection, evaluation and management of IT solutions and serving as a point of contact between various field offices.
