Diagnosing networked system failures to isolate sources of problems between equipment, networks, systems software, and application systems.
In addition to demonstrating the four competencies above, I
have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:
1) Applying concepts, principles, methods and practices to effectively support customer IT requirements; 2) Utilizing IT products and services sufficient to evaluate, recommend the acquisition of, implement, and disseminate IT security tools, procedures, and practices to protect information assets; and specifications to ensure compliance with IT security requirements, 3) Planning, implementing, and supporting functions as they pertain to delivering IT products and services via various methods; 4) Providing IT customer service to enable customer capability to accomplish mission requirements; 5) Employing performance/measurement methods, tools, and techniques to effectively monitor IT performance to ensure level of support requirements are being delivered as specified in the contract vehicle.
