In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
* Experience directing the activities of Reactor Controls and Support Branch, including the design, development, performance, and control through engineering direction/consultation for all nuclear work in the Shipyard.
* Experience ensuring that all work pertaining to construction, overhaul, repair and modification of reactor control and support systems and equipment complies with legal regulatory requirements.
* Experience having a thorough understanding of nuclear engineering, including radiological controls, electrical power and control systems, electrical design, and mathematics.
* Experience applying Total Quality Leadership/LEAN Manufacturing concepts or other quality improvement efforts to enhance operations.
* Experience assigning work to subordinates based on organizational priorities, experience, training, and abilities to meet organization and customer needs.
