Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-12) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, that provided knowledge of a wide variety of laws and regulations relating to law enforcement operations, practices and techniques and involved the responsibility for maintaining order and protecting life and property; supervising police officers at Military installations; developing, implementing, and overseeing law enforcement programs and policies, training schedules, personnel actions and operating plans; resolves complex employee complaints and group grievances; performing statistical, financial and productivity analysis and evaluations for short and long range requirements in connection with prospective changes in various Operations and Service functions.

ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This position is subject to rotating shift work. Incumbent is subject to 24-hour recall and will maintain a 24-hour recall notification number and is required to respond per installation policy/SOP. May be subject to being interrupted from meal or other work breaks while on duty.
Overtime may be required.
Must be able to use all police equipment, certify in the use of radar detection and alcohol detection equipment, field sobriety tests, expandable or collapsible baton, and obtain other certifications required to accomplish the duties of a law enforcement officer.
Must successfully complete a designated USMC Police Officers Course (BPOC and meet all certification requirements, to include weapons certifications, CPR, AED, DoD and Joint Training Regulations.
As first responders to chemical/biological attacks, must be able to train and wear personal protective equipment to include mask, suit, boots, and gloves.
If conducting law enforcement operations in navigable waters, you must attend the Inland Boat Operator Training Program at FLETC or a similar course.
