Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
1) Directing and making immediate decisions in the provisions of Law Enforcement (LE), Antiterrorism (AT), and Force Protection (FP); 2) Performing a full range of duties and responsibilities in preventing terrorist activities, resolving offenses, conducting preliminary and ongoing investigations of incidents; 3) Documenting law enforcement and security events and the issuance of citations; 4) Implementing FPCON measures and RAM in the response to command direction and terrorist threats. PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Recurring and unpredictably strenuous physical effort is exerted when apprehending, subduing, and detaining persons, performing body searches, and using unarmed self-defense techniques. Must be able to routinely lift 50 lbs and be able to carry or move persons weighting 180 pounds, such as accident or crime victims and hostile suspects.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The work environment regularly involves high risks with exposure to potentially dangerous situations or unusual environmental stress which require a range of safety and other precautions (e.g., subject to possible physical attack by human means and/or various substances, weapons or firearms). Routinely performs duties outdoors in various weather climates, conditions, and temperatures.
Eligible DoD career or career conditional employees shall be granted statutory return rights to their former position for a period of 5 years if continuously employed in a foreign or non-foreign area provided by Executive Order 10895 and DoDI 1400.25, v 1230. Employees that do not exercise their return rights within five years are no longer eligible for return rights and will be treated as a local hire.
