Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Planning, directing, training, and managing police officer and Working Dog Handler operations; establishing Working Dog training, procedures, maintenance, and grooming standards to ensure proper Working Dog care and Kennel Facility upkeep; and performing inspection and investigating work to effect compliance of individuals with laws, rules, and regulations in the protection of life, property, and the civil rights of citizens.

Addition Condition of Employment:
Must be a graduate or attend the first available school of the Military Working Dog Kennel Masters Course at Lackland AFB, TX.
Incumbent must pass a sanctioned job compatibility/psychological examination.
This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program.
This is a Department of Navy drug testing designated position.
Must maintain program height and weight appearance standards.
Must be able to use all police equipment, certify in the use of radar detection and alcohol detection equipment, field sobriety test, expandable or collapsible baton and obtain other certifications required to accomplish the duties of a law enforcement officer.
Must meet medical standards for Police Officers in DoD 6055.85M and NMCPHC-TM-OM 6260.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
This is a Mission Essential Position.

Must be 18 years of age.
