Duties
Serves as the subject matter expert in all aspects of the Information, Tickets and Tours Office. Plans, directs and supervises all IT&T program operations, implementing higher level directives and formulating comprehensive procedures and programs to achieve high standards and meet the diverse needs of eligible patrons (military members and families, retirees, civilian employees, and authorized guests. Establishes financial goals, prepares, analyzes and revises Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) operating and Capital Expenditure budgets to ensure a solid financial condition. Manages the full range of IT&T services including sale of free, regular and discounted tickets to local attractions, sporting events, theme parks, etc.. Plans, organize and coordinates recurring and special activities, including commercial reservation and ticketing services for airlines, hotels, cruises, tour packages, and other travel related offerings. Develops and provides group tours to local, regional and international points of interest, designing activities to stimulate participation and align with community interests. Maintains a comprehensive working knowledge of travel related company rules, regulations, and procedures. Provides clear, accurate guidance and referral services for leisure travel information to individual and group customers, optimizing participation by coordinating with off-base recreational facilities and attractions to secure best possible pricing. Initiate actions and contracts to maintain updated information displays for customer use. Develops and implements marketing plans, conducts customer surveys, and creates strategies with Marketing Office to publicize IT&T program effectively and garner maximum participation. Supervises IT&T staff and is responsible for assigning duties, preparing work schedules, approving/disapproving leave requests, evaluating performance, recruiting and selections. Addresses employee complaints and grievances as necessary, ensuring adherence to personnel policies and procedures. Collects and deposits monies, processed payments from Air Force contractors and prepares accurate daily and monthly financial reports as required. Performs essential administrative duties, including processing work orders, time and attendance records, report receiving and cash collection reports. Gathers, maintains and monitors data to complete required reports and ensure program accountability. Operates Force Support tour vehicles or contracts for non-staff tour escorts as required. Resolves customer complaints, escalating more technical issues to the Community Services Flight Chief as needed. Performs other related duties as assigned.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Qualifying Experience:
Progressively responsible administrative, professional, technical or other work that has provided a general knowledge of management principles and practices; a thorough general knowledge of the goals, principles, methods and techniques of the broad field of travel industry; and a thorough understanding of the travel and leisure interests of individuals and groups. Prefer to have progressively responsible experience in a military or civilian recreation program activity which has involved recreation work in the IT&T specialty. Must have responsible experience in developing or administering a budget program. Must have the ability to communicate both orally and in writing and be able to read, speak and write English. Must possess skill in dealing with the public.
Conditions of Employment: Must possess a valid driver's license. Successful completion and favorable adjudication of applicable background investigation T1 (Tier 1) is required. May be required to workdays, nights, weekends and holidays. "THIS IS A DRUG TESTING DESIGNATED POSITION. THE INCUMBENT IS SUBJECT TO RANDOM TESTING FOR DRUG USE."

Education
