Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector leading, supervising, and/or managing Supply Management operations, utilizing an expert knowledge of logistics and supply chain management policies, regulation, procedures relating to a broad range of supply program relationships. Provides direction for the Navy Supply Chain functions related to Material Control in support of Navy supply operations of shore and afloat activities. Major Material Control Functions include: Warehouse Management and Configuration, Suspended and Deficient Material, Demilitarization Management, and Classified Material Management. I also possess experience executing work planning and organization, developing program goals and objectives, establishing work schedules and staff resource planning, creating work objectives/assignment reviews, establishing operating procedures, and resolving technical problems. I also have experience coordinating the establishment of quantitative parameters for business process execution; Developing innovative strategies and procedures to overcome process problems to evaluate, maintain, and improve process performance. Examples of specialized experience include the following: 1. Inspecting supply services for conformance with policy, regulatory, and program requirements to initiate, advise, and direct corrective actions as necessary. 2. Making recommendations to improve the efficiency of supply processes, policies, procedures and inventory to improve Inventory management/accuracy. 3) Establishing plans of action and milestones for the evaluation of current and proposed material control processes and identifying new and improved applications and planning for long range efficiency enhancements. 4) Determine resource needs, evaluates impact of resource constraints, and recommends action for enhancing the efficiency of the assigned business process, functions, and procedures.
