MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Military Grades: E1 through E4
Desired Military Assignments: 92A,92G,92Y,91B,42A,25 series
- Applicants need not be assigned to the position or possess the MOS to apply or be considered for selection. Selected applicant must be assigned to a compatible Military position and attain MOS within 1 year of appointment action.
- May be required to successfully complete a trial period.
- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- All soldiers, civilian employees, and contractor employees who drive Army-owned or leased vehicles must complete the Army Avoidance Course (AAC) training when they start working for the Army. Must have a valid Washington state and military driver's license. Must be able to obtain a Government Travel Card (GTC) and be able to attend all schools deemed necessary by the supervisor.
- Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service.
- Must maintain membership in the WA Army National Guard for continued employment.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position.
- This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position.
- Position requires ability to establish effective professional working relationships with coworkers and customers, contributing to a cooperative working environment and successful accomplishment of the mission.
- May occasionally be required to work other than normal duty hours; overtime may be required.

Qualifications
GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
Progressively responsible clerical, office, or other work that indicates ability to acquire the particular knowledge and skills needed to perform the duties of the position to be filled. Experience, education, or training in a variety of operations or situations concerned with substance or content of supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Knowledge of basic or commonly applied rules, procedures, or operations such as, filling out, posting, filing, controlling, or coding documents and/or transactions. Experience using computer and automation systems.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least 12 months experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. Knowledge of governing supply regulations, policies, procedures, and instructions applicable to the specific assignment. Experience conducting searches for required information; reconstruct records for supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support for activities involving specialized or unique supplies, equipment, and parts. Experience performing various aspects of supply specialist work based on practical knowledge of standard procedures, where assignments include individual case problems related to segments in one or more major areas of supply management. Experience which required person-to-person contacts to convey information and ability to compile reports, letters, memoranda, etc. Experience controlling supply stocks and accounting for equipment, cataloging, maintenance, and disposal procedures. Completing complex supply transactions; and/or providing supply operations support. Experience coordinating with other organizations on complex and controversial supply issues. Experience analyzing, developing, evaluating to improve supply programs, policies, procedures, techniques, etc. Knowledge on the entire inventory management supply system. Experience providing advice and guidance on supply regulations to upper levels of management regarding supply functions.

High School Diploma or GED
You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.

- Incumbent is the primary focal point for Property Accountability for the United States Property and Fiscal Officer.
- Incumbent is the focal point for unit mobilization operations seeking needed assets and establishing proper authorization documents for mobilization.
- Incumbent is required to meet all the military training and requirements for compatible military assignment to be awarded this position.
- During mobilization or demobilization operations may travel throughout the state or country assisting assigned units to identify and validate assets to being prepared or returned.
- If requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver's license for the state in which they live or are principally employed.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance within one year of appointment.
****This is an obligated position (current occupant is on a Military Tour). Individual selected for this position will receive an indefinite appointment. If a Reduction-In-Force occurs and/or the military tour member reclaims this position, the indefinite appointee will have no reemployment rights to his/her former position or any other position. If the military tour member, having reemployment rights to this position, does not exercise his/her rights within 5 years, and funding level and employee manning levels permit, incumbent may be converted to permanent technician status without further competition.***

- Knowledge of a wide range of supply systems, regulations and established techniques to maintain and account for federal assets. Knowledge and skill in performing analysis, interaction and providing recommendations based on the systems and personnel that become involved in the process.
- Knowledge of supply operations and skill in applying the principles and practices of supply management, material storage, inventory, and excess property management to provide technical assistance and instruction to customers.
- Knowledge to conduct extensive and exhaustive research for required information to reconstruct records to evaluate complex supply transactions.
- Detailed working knowledge of the UIC organizational procedures, systems and practices.
- Knowledge of the regulatory requirements and the unit level to be able to address these same issues at the Supply Support Activity level. (
- Knowledge and ability to do general analytical tasks, establish recommended actions, correspond verbally or through written reports and do this at multiple levels throughout the state or to other governmental agencies.
- Detailed and practical knowledge of the goals, objectives, work methods and functions of automated logistics programs and systems to provide assistance in the interfaces between various STAMIS.
- Incumbent must be technical expert on supply policies and procedures.
- Knowledge and ability to utilize, input and manage data base applications through spreadsheet, word document or various STAMIS programs either internally or WEB based.
