Duties
As a SUPV HR SPEC (MILITARY), GS-0201-12, you will serve as the supervisor over the Force Development, Commander's Support Staff, Sustainment Services Flight, Military Personnel Flight, Human Resources Remote, and Airman and Family Programs within the Force Support Squadron. May serve as the full-time representative of the Commander. This is an Air National Guard (ANG) Dual Status Technician position requiring military membership, compatible military skill assignment, and classification.

- Participation in direct deposit is mandatory.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position within one year of appointment.
- Ability to establish effective profession working relationships with coworkers and customers, contribution to cooperative working environment and successful accomplish of the mission.
- Work may occasionally require travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft.
- Irregular and/or overtime (compensatory) hours may be required to support operational requirements or contingencies or may be required to work hours outside of the normal duty day.
- Work may potentially require the employee to be exposed to search and recovery operations in direct response to a military mishap or when providing support to Civil Authorities during an Incident Response as part of domestic operations.
- For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver’s license for the state in which they live or are principally employed
Qualifications
Military Grades: Enlisted
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: 1 year equivalent to at least next lower grade level. Specialized experience factors encompass human resources program's business competencies, familiarity with the subject matter or processes used in human resources programs associated with DoD, U.S. Army, or U.S. Air Force. Experience in managing the function of the work to be performed. Experience which includes leading, directing and assigning work of personnel. Must have experience planning, directing, and administering force support programs for wing military personnel and associate units. Must have experience and knowledge of the basic concepts, principles, and theories of military human resources management and the ability to adapt these to meet mission requirements of the state. Must have experience being responsible for programs associated with Base Services such as lodging, fitness, food service programs, recreational and special morale and welfare, etc.
