In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of experience which includes: 1) Supporting or assisting personnel working in operations, leadership, administrative or clerical functions; 2) Reviewing strategic/operational aspects of administrative or mission-oriented programs (program examples include but not limited to: resource management, organizational planning, or short/long term project planning; AND 3) Creating policy for administrative, facility, and personnel functional areas and carrying out in-depth analysis of policy and direct impact on program requirements.
This typically includes work performed at the next lower grade/level NH-02 (GS-11) position in the federal service.
