Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the
GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
Interpreting antiterrorism (AT) and Force Protection (FP) concepts and Physical Security (PS) principles, including access control, perimeter security, and surveillance systems. (NOTE: Your answer must be supported by information in your resume.)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The work is partly sedentary, which includes sitting, standing, walking, and carrying of light
items. Part of the work will take place in an outdoor environment. Incumbent can expect to be called upon to conduct on-site surveys of discrepancies in the field periodically. Such work will include driving, walking and occasional travel outside of home installation.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The employee works in an adequately lighted and ventilated office environment. The employee occasionally works outdoors to perform security inspections and assessments of areas such as Entry Control Points (ECPs), piers and other security posts. May require occasional travel. The risks and discomforts imposed by an outdoor environment are minimal to an individual in reasonably good physical condition. Incumbent is responsible for accomplishing assigned work in a manner that will assure his/her own safety and the safety of others. Position is generally sedentary in nature but requires periodic response to incidents that may be in rough terrain or remote sites.
Extremely stressful position due to constant and complex mental demands and deadlines.
Stressful conditions are exacerbated during attacks, heightened Force Protection Conditions, and exercises.
Eligible DoD career or career conditional employees shall be granted statutory return rights to their former position for a period of 5 years if continuously employed in a foreign or non-foreign area provided by Executive Order 10895 and DoDI 1400.25, v 1230. Employees that do not exercise their return rights within five years are no longer eligible for return rights and will be treated as a local hire.
