Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:
Ensuring safety requirements are met through the development and implementation of safe work practices and procedures in support of Aircraft Department's operations and compliance with OSHA, DOD, DON, NFPA, NEC, and other applicable safety and health standards.
Planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating one or more Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) programs in a diversified industrial and administrative environment.
Analyzing safety design features and specifications and develops new methods and procedures to identify or control hazardous processes and equipment usage.
Directing investigations of accidents, analyzing precipitating factors and accident cause data to develop specific methods for prevention.
Advising management officials within the assigned area on the status of the safety and occupational health, programs and recommends changes in the design of work programs to meet the new safety and occupational health standards.
