This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA), Office of Innovation, of the Office of the Archivist. The Office of Innovation is responsible for NARA's Open Government and Digital Strategy efforts, the online public catalog, NARA's digitization strategy and partnerships, and the National Archives' web presence.

The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Qualifications
You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the GS-8, specialized experience is defined as one year of experience at the GS-7 level, or equivalent that is directly related to the position and which has equipped the candidate with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. Specialized experience includes:
- Reviewing documents for grammar, format, and punctuation accuracy; AND
- Answering phone calls and directing them to the appropriate staff.
