Security Guard Opportunity

Join the team at the Army Military Ocean Terminals as a Security Guard. We are looking for dedicated professionals committed to maintaining safety and protecting our personnel and assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor extensive perimeters including waterways and access points to prevent espionage, sabotage, or intrusion.
• Implement and enforce security procedures, regulations, and laws.
• Control access to the terminal, ensuring identification through various means.
• Conduct both vehicular and harbor patrols, ensuring security for personnel and assets entering the terminal.
• Use and maintain proficiency with assigned firearms.
• Perform regular security patrols and respond to incidents promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• Secret level security clearance is needed.
• Proficiency with firearms and the ability to pass weapons qualifications semi-annually.
• completion of CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
• A valid state driver's license.
• Physical fitness for the Physical Agility Test annually.
• Capability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
• Prior experience in a protective services role.

Qualifications

Applicants must possess one year of specialized experience in protective services roles such as protection against fire, theft, or trespass, including monitoring alarms or providing security patrols.
