Duties

The United States Space Force (USSF) at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Dayton OH is searching for a Senior Intelligence Analyst for GEOINT, MASINT & ALL Source Fusion to support the 76 ISRS (GG-0132-13).

Description:
As an Intelligence Specialist within the 76th Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Squadron at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, you will be at the forefront of national security, serving as a squadron Subject Matter Expert in MASINT, GEOINT, and All-Source intelligence. Your primary mission will be to process, exploit, analyze, and disseminate complex information from multi-intelligence sources to provide combatant commanders with the critical situational awareness needed to plan and conduct successful operations. Stationed within a dynamic, multi-unit environment comprised of the 76 ISRS, the National Space Intelligence Center (NSIC), and other Intelligence Community partners, you will be instrumental in building out and managing the Space Intelligence Production Cell (SIPC). This role requires you to direct flight leadership and NSIC personnel within the SIPC, manage training, ensure rigorous quality control over SIGINT products, and build robust relationships across the US Space Force and IC to guarantee mission success.


Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate is a master of the complete intelligence lifecycle, with demonstrated expertise in multi-source intelligence research, processing, exploitation, analysis, and reporting. They possess an advanced, working knowledge of USAF and national ISR systems, PED capabilities, and the intricate operational dynamics of the national intelligence community, Joint, and DoD structures. This individual excels at conducting unbiased, complex research, skillfully identifying and leveraging appropriate data sources to produce critical exploitation assessments that directly support consumer and client requirements. As a superior communicator, they transform complex information into clear, concise intelligence products and deliver decisive verbal presentations to senior leaders. Crucially, they thrive under pressure, demonstrating an exceptional ability to maintain control of classified material, render accurate assessments from disparate data, and make and defend critical recommendations based on mature judgment and extensive experience.


Key Skills and Abilities:
1. Deep knowledge of international affairs, foreign engagement and security/foreign policy formulation with demonstrated expertise and experience in US foreign and security policy formulation and implementation. Experience and knowledge should also demonstrate expertise in the formulation or implementation of international agreements, foreign policy, U.S. posture policies, multinational/combined operations, Security Cooperation (SC) management, including operations, policies and procedures, concepts, theories, and best-practices.
2. Experience in and knowledge of the development of international agreements, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), Concepts of Employment (CONEMPs), Capability Development Documents (CDDs), Initial Capability Documents (ICDs), Mission Area Plans (MAPs), the integrated planning process, Strategic Master Plans, the Combatant Commanders' Integrated Priority List (IPL) development, US Embassy Integrated Country Strategies (ICS), DoS Joint Regional Strategy (JRS), space system acquisition process, and the directive instructions governing these processes and procedures and the skill to apply this knowledge in executing of duties.
3. Ability to analyze and derive pertinent information from a variety of source inputs and devise solutions, conduct assessments of alternatives, determine trades between cost and capabilities, advocate for needed funding, formulate Command position and then successfully advocate for those positions.
4. Knowledge of, and experience in multiple space missions areas, architectures and operations, and the skill to apply this knowledge in executing of duties.
5. Ability to analyze and plan to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources. Ability to communicate both orally and in writing clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy.
6. Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures.

  • Must be a U.S Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret / SCI security clearance.
  • Safeguards classified or sensitive budget-related information and/or files.
  • May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.
  • Eligible for situational telework only, including Emergency and OPM prescribed “Unscheduled Telework”.
  • This position will close after 5 business days or 75 applications, whichever comes first.
  • Employee may be required to perform travel by military or commercial passenger aircraft in the performance of temporary duty assignments.
  • PCS / relocation funding is authorized.
  • Subject to Temporary Duty Assignment (TDY): Approximately 15 days per year.
  • This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program.
  • An advanced intelligence-related or professional/scientific degree is desirable.
