Join Our Team as a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join the U.S. Army Reserve Command as a Sexual Assault Response Coordinator (SARC). Be part of a pivotal team, ensuring safety and support for our community. Locations are available in Bartonville, Illinois, and Helena, Montana.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a key adviser in response to sexual harassment and assault incidents.
  • Provide training on sexual harassment and assault prevention.
  • Supervise and support victim advocates.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and coordinate care in incidents of sexual harassment and assault.
  • Foster a workplace environment committed to preventing harassment and assault.
  • Collaborate with external offices for immediate incident response and reporting.
  • Track the progress of cases from initial reports through resolution.
  • Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Completion of SHARP Career Course required within six months of employment.
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance.
  • Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to GS-09 (examples include response coordination for harassment or assault, SHARP program education).
  • Education: Equivalent to a Ph.D., or three years of higher graduate education in Psychology, Sociology, or related fields.
  • Combination of education and experience is also considered.
  • Foreign education must be accredited equivalent to U.S. education standards.

    Working Conditions

  • May include evening, night, holiday, and weekend shifts.
  • Expect occasional on-call duties.
  • Up to 25% business travel may be required.
