BASIC REQUIREMENTS -
EDUCATION: Must fulfill all of the requirements for a master's degree in social work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. fulfilled the requirements for a master's degree in social work in a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.??????? In addition to meeting the basic requirement above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirements listed below:
LICENSURE: Position requires a current, active, valid, unrestricted clinical license to practice Social Work independently, offered by a U.S. State, District of Columbia, commonwealth, territory or jurisdiction. (NOTE: You must provide a copy of the license with your application package.)
EXPERIENCE: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service which includes providing treatment using modalities that include but are not limited to Conducting assessments and formulating evidence-based interventions appropriate to a primary care setting for a wide range of behavioral health conditions; Providing evaluation, intervention and relapse prevention services; providing concise documentation of care and recommendations in patient's medical record; conducting training for the primary care clinic; providing consultation services to patients who would benefit from periodic, regular behavioral health monitoring and intervention. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11)
